In deze online Windows Server 2016 cursus leer je als systeembeheerder de basis en geavanceerde netwerktechnologieën van Windows Server 2016 kennen. Deze training is één van de drie trainingen voor het behalen van de MCSA Windows Server 2016 certificering.

Onderwerpen die aan bod komen zijn IPv4 en IPv6 address management, DHCP management, DNS implementaties, Hyper-V, configuratie van DNS Zones, implementatie van IP address management (IPAM), netwerk connectiviteit, beveiligen van remote authenticatie en maak je kennis met de geavanceerde netwerk infrastructuur.

Let op: Deze training blijft wel bestaan maar de mogelijkheid om het bijbehorende examen af te leggen is per 31 januari 2021 komen te vervallen. 
Een groot aantal Microsoft trajecten zijn namelijk aan het veranderen. Veel MCSA en MCSE trajecten maken plaats voor Role-Based trajecten.

De vervanger van deze online training is nog niet bekend.

Je bent bekend met de basis en geavanceerde netwerktechnologieën van Windows Server 2016. Tevens ben je voorbereid op het Microsoft 70-741 examen.

Voorkennis

Je hebt kennis over het volgende:

• Ervaring met Windows Server 2008 of Windows Server 2012
• Ervaring met een Windows Server infrastructure enterprise omgeving
• Kennis van het Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
• Begrip van kern netwerk infrastructuur componenten en technologieën zoals bekabeling, routers, hubs en switches
• Kennis van netwerk topologieën en architecten zoals local area networks (LAN’s), wide area networks (WAN’s) en draadloos netwerken
• Basiskennis van TCP/IP protocol stack, adressing and name resolution
• Ervaring met en kennis van Hyper-V en virtualisatie
